Cannabidiol - (CBD) is one of the many phytocannabinoids that can be found in the cannabis plant. The two best-known phytocannabinoids derived from the cannabis plants are cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The cannabis plant is often associated with the marijuana plant; when in actuality, the cannabis plant is the genus name for the Cannabaceae family. Moreover, Cannabidiol (CBD) can be extracted from both the marijuana and hemp plants. And unlike, Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), Cannabidiol (CBD) is non-psychoactive and is known for its healing and calming effects.
